This low carbohydrate frosting can be made dairy-free using non-hydrogenated shortening. I have not personally tried them as I do eat eggs, and have so few ingredients to work with for these recipes. This was my first experience with erythritol and I have to say that it seemed a bit odd. Made this the other day and it came out AWESOME. Grip pan firmly by the edges and rap it on the counter a few times to pop any air bubbles. I think it would be great with coconut frosting. Chop them up and add everything to a large pot with water. Truvia could work, but it does have a bitter aftertaste when used in large amounts. Start off with the onions and green pepper.
